OUR STORY
Many years ago, this property was a shipbuilding yard with a fully functioning lighthouse.
After World War I, when the wooden ships gave way to the new metal fleets, the property transitioned into a lumber yard.
Eventually, the lumber business dried up, and the owner then
turned the property into a campground.
Bob and Noreen bought the Old Shipyard Beach Campground in 1999 and operated it until 2023. They graciously passed the torch to Bill and Joanne, who promised to continue looking after this little piece of paradise.
